If you want culture, history, food, cinema and film and a heavy dose of all things Chicago this is your tour! Get ready to EAT. We are true fans of Chicago, The Bear and good food which is why we start our tour at the world famous Pequod's pizza where a hot pie will be ready waiting for us to pickup and try. Enjoy this in the pedicab as we begin our leisurely ride through the city getting an open air view of some of Chicago's cutest neighborhoods. Next up we go to Margies Candies for a Banana Split before embarking on a ride all the way from the west side to River North, crossing the Chicago River and getting some photos at the iconic LaSalle Flowers. End your epic Chicago adventure at Mr. Beef or Kasama! Your tour vehicle will be a decorated 6 seat pedicab driven by one of our knowledgeable tour guides. Comfortable for up to 4-5 adults, 6 if kids/teenagers are in the mix. Look at the photos of the cab and feel free to reach out with any questions.
The legendary, best “deep dish” pizza in Chicago. It’s really a Pan pizza, but your tour comes with one personal-medium pizza depending on group size, I preorder this or it takes truly forever- classic from The Bear is the Pepperoni, if you want something different just let us know.

The most expensive home in Chicago! This is an optional stop on the tour but sometimes depending on where the tour begins, whether at your hotel, at Pequods or a coffee shop nearby, we are able to explore Lincoln Park a bit. Here we can stop by this magnificent home, originally listed for a whopping $50,000,000! sold last year for $30 Million. Right around the corner, the lovely Oz Park featuring statues from The Wizard of Oz.

Episode 3, Season 2 “Sundae” Syd ends an epic food tour of Chicago at Margies Candies, an ice cream parlor that’s been open since 1921, for an iconic banana split. Yes we will be getting a banana split here with many spoons for your party to share! Try to save room because after this you are either going to a Michelin star restaurant (Kasama) or the place where it all began, Mr. Beef!

We will see sweeping views of the Chicago River along with the skyline in an open air pedicab with a canopy providing some shade while still experiencing the city in the most visceral way possible!

As the montages of The Bear flip across the scene we catch too many iconic Chicago landmarks to possibly catch all of them but one moment in Season 3 stands out to most more than others. My personal favorite neon sign in Chicago, La Salle Flowers. Here is a great spot to hop off the pedicab and let your tour guide take some photos and help make some memories! Right around the corner from Mr. Beef we will be in the heart of the city where countless scenes of different characters are filmed going about their lives while not consumed by the restaurant. Your tour will provide views of the skyline and additional architecture and film history with lots of opportunities for photos! Feel free to ask to stop to take a group photo anytime.

*This is an OPTIONAL stop! If your group is feeling fancy and wants to end the tour here INSTEAD of the original filming location for the show, Mr. Beef it is an option; it is some of the best food in Chicago- it is truly amazing. The line is insane always and I recommend you coordinate your own reservations here if you plan to make this your final stop. If not we will possibly pass by the restaurant or explore Old Town and the Chicago Rivers on our way to Mr. Beef- this is a private tour and how we spend our time is up to you! Your tour guide will be very knowledgable and able to make suggestions and offer fun ideas based on your group.

This is were it all started! Mr. Beef at 666 N Orleans St serves as the setting for all of season 1 of The Bear as well as flashbacks in Season 2 & 3. It is also the technical location of the fictional restaurant The Bear, but in reality Mr. Beef still stands and likely with a long line of fans waiting these days. This is the end of your tour, feel free to take some pics or hang out and order some food if you have any room left. The line is often long with the success of the show though so we order ahead. We are also happy to take a photo or two here and end your tour somewhere else nearby or for an additional cost at the Chicago River Taxi on Michigan or back to your hotel. PLEASE BE ADVISED THEY ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS! We still offer the tour on Sundays and will go here for pictures, then we take you to another classic spot for an Italian Beef, which will be just as delicious but not from Mr. Beef so if that’s a dealbreaker for you please don’t book your tour on a Sunday.
