The Jewel of the Creek hiking trail is a desert oasis filled with towering cacti, abandoned gold mines, Indian petroglyphs, gorgeous mountains and cottonwood trees along Cave Creek, at the northern edge of the Town of Cave Creek which borders Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area. This property holds one of the last remaining spring fed streams in Maricopa County. The unusual year-round presence of water supports a myriad of plant and animal species. Our guide is an experienced hiker and will take you on an unforgettable, super fun hike through this beautiful oasis in the desert.
