This is the oldest bar in the country and a Pirates pub. Once the home of the famous pirate and a well known ghost, Jean Lafitte and company. Bloody Mary has dozens of of documentaries and extensive research in her book on this infamous bar. Bloody Mary began her professional Voodoo and Ghost hunting here 25 years ago with this tour of the undead and first Night time cemeteries . She had the Haunted Spirit realm and ghost photo gallery here 1999-2005. at its haunted slave quarters pre-Katrina. The Bourbon Orleans Hotel is famous for its ghosts and the Quadroon ballroom ‘s haunted balcony overlooking Orleans St. can be hopping! In general the spirits in the Hotel are selective on when and if they pop up and are a moody lot. The ghost nuns are particularly stern.
