Benefit from personalized attention on this private walking tour of Philadelphia's historic Jewish Quarter. Take a deep dive into one of the nation's first cities and its faith history through engaging guided commentary as you walk. Stops include bakeries, schools, banks, and synagogues throughout some of Philly's oldest neighborhoods.
South Street was the commercial hub of the immigrant Jewish quarter. We walk through the neighborhoods both north and south of it, stopping to see various former and current synagogues, the Hebrew school, immigrant bank, bath houses, theaters, union halls, restaurants and a currently open kosher Jewish bakery.
