What To Expect

Make your way to the iFLY Indoor Skydiving center in Tampa prior to your selected tour time. After meeting your instructors, be fitted with a skydiving suit and receive a safety briefing with instructions for going inside the tunnel.

Once you’ve learned the basics for “flying” inside the 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel, head inside for the first of your two 60-second indoor skydiving flights. Under the one-to-one guidance of your certified flight instructor, you’ll float in the wall-to-wall air cushion with wind speeds between 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph).

During your two flights, you’ll learn basic or more advanced flying techniques, depending on your experience level, with your instructor on hand to help and advise at all times.

At the end of your skydiving session, which totals about 75 minutes, you’ll receive a certificate of flight achievement and have the opportunity to purchase photos of the experience.
