A hands on experience with your friendly Chandler who guides you through the basic candle making process while sipping on your favorite beverage. You begin by blending your own creation of fragrance oils, wicking your candle jars, pouring your wax, blinging out your containers, while enjoying some good music and company. You'll take home two 7 oz. custom candles, and some fabulous memories!

• Learn about Lafayette’s Cajun history and culture while eating delicious food
• This bus tour includes food from at least five different locations
• Taste specialties like gumbo, boudin, etouffee, and king cake from local favorites
• A limit of 14 people makes it easier to meet friends and enjoy the company

What To Expect

Join us in the oldest standing structure in Franklin, Louisiana, inside of what used to be an old tavern in the early 1800s. Inside of this building, we are still pouring, but this time it's wax!

You will be able to blend your own fragrances, wick your container jars, and pour your own candles, all while sipping on your favorite beverage or spirit with new and old friends alike. Be your own DJ with our house spinner, Alexa! Set your own tone, but please keep it cool.

Each participant will end their experience with two 7oz custom soy candles that they made themselves!

Your candle masterpieces will be available to take home the following day of your experience to allow for drying time or they can be shipped to your Louisiana address for an additional $8.

Must be 12 years or older to participate. Anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
