If you're staying on the Big Island, it can tricky to plan a visit to Pearl Harbor on Oahu. This tour takes care of all the logistics. The iconic white USS Arizona Memorial sits right above the sunken ship. The USS Arizona was hit early in the attacks with one bomb penetrating the magazine chamber where ammunition is stored causing a huge explosion. During the sinking of the Arizona, 1,177 sailors perished, their remains buried within the wreckage. Today, the USS Arizona Memorial is Pearl Harbor’s most visited site and continues to serve as a final resting place for sailors who survived the attack and passed away later in life.

Walk the deck of the last battleship the US ever built in footprints of General MacArthur and Admiral Chester Nimitz. It was on the deck of the Missouri in 1945 that the Instrument of Surrender was signed ending WWII. Second only in casualties to the USS Arizona on that fateful day, the Oklahoma Memorial on Ford Island.
