Trade your typical crowded rock wall facility for the great Seattle outdoors on a full-day rock climbing excursion. After you learn essential climbing safety and knots, join your instructor at a natural cliff face. Climb and belay 5-6 outdoor routes, while your instructor offers guidance and suggestions. Each climbing surface is unique and presents different challenges. Chalk, climbing shoes, and other gear are available to rent.

What To Expect

We believe everyone can enjoy rock climbing and our objectives are to help beginners learn the basics and pursue this fantastic sport. We take a short hike to a natural cliff face, discuss climbing safety and knots, and begin climbing and belaying. You will have plenty of opportunity to climb and practice belaying as we top-rope climb on at least 5-6 routes with unique rock types and features. Participants will learn the fundamental skills necessary to pass a belay test in an indoor climbing gym.
