Join me on a private walking tour at a local park in Denver! Birds are everywhere and bird watching is a great way to slow down, spend time outdoors, soak in the Colorado sunshine, all the while appreciating beautiful wildlife. This tour is open to anyone, from the curious, to beginners to bird enthusiasts. I am obsessed about birds and I love to share all the reasons why they’re smart, adaptive, and super cool.
Open to all levels of experience! I’ll guide you on a leisurely tour where we’ll learn how to identify various bird species, why they are important to our ecosystem, how intelligent they are, and many other fun facts! My hope is to inspire you to appreciate the wonder and beauty of our feathered friends. Expect to walk about 1.5 miles on flat gravel or paved trails at a local park. Depending on the season, we will see at least 5-20 different bird species. We will use our eyes and ears to observe birds, scanning the sky, trees, and ponds.
I'll provide everyone with a pair of binoculars, including a brief intro of how to use them. I promise that seeing birds close up will change your perspective of how stunning they are.
Bird-watching is a wonderful mindfulness practice. It has several mental health benefits, including lowering stress hormones, heart rate, and mental fatigue. I hope you leave our bird outing rejuvenated, relaxed, and lighter in spirit!
